| We are thrilled to announce a special tasting of Pinot Noirs from around the world led by a proud past recipient of multiple AIWF scholarships, Lindsay Pomeroy. There are few individuals more suited to guide us on this journey. Lindsay is a Master of Wine, a designation so selective that there are only about 400 such recipients worldwide! Lindsay also has earned the highest possible certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the WSET Level 4 Diploma.
Lindsay is particularly excited to orchestrate this event since it allows her to give something back to our organization that contributed so much to her education. The depth of her expertise, insight, and passion should be evident with every pour. With her guidance we will explore the illustrious Pinot Noir grape and its varieties of expression from vineyards around the world. Each tasting will be paired with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and fresh baguettes thoughtfully curated by Venissimo Cheese, followed by miniature desserts handcrafted by our chapter chair, pastry chef Heidi Pigeon—all designed to showcase Pinot Noir’s elegant, food-friendly character.
